Kent Marcum, graduate of Lubbock Christian
University and Sunset International Bible Institute, Lubbock, TX serves as
the Director of the Quito
School of Biblical Studies in Quito. Kent is a native of Indiahoma,
Oklahoma.
Kent and his family arrived in Quito, Ecuador under the
oversight of the Southwest church of Christ, Pueblo, CO in January of
1989. He and his wife, Sharla Sikes Marcum, along with their adopted
son, James, continue to serve under the oversight of the Pueblo church.
His children, Joshua, Jauna, and Jenny are now married and living in the
USA. Joshua and his wife are part of a team that will plant a church
in Bolivia in 2005.
